Support Worker
About the Role
Our Support Worker follows a strengths-based, person-centred approach to improve the independence of our clients. This involves addressing individual needs, fostering positive home environments, and establishing strong relationships with families and the community.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Drive to and from client visits in your own car (transport allowance provided)

Assisting with personal care (e.g. dental hygiene, showering)

Assisting with household duties (e.g. cooking, cleaning, shopping)

Supporting client in accessing community (e.g. appointments, shopping, recreational activities)

Read and follow Care Plans and task instructions

Monitoring and reporting on progress, health and other issues

Requirements:

Cert III/IV in Individual Support/Aged Care/Disability

Current Provide First Aid Certificate HLTAID003

Current Provide CPR Certificate HLTAID001
-
Current Manual Handling Certificate
-
Current Australian Driver's Licence and Car

Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance
-
Current National Police Check
-
Current Working with Children's Check (Employee Type)

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
